Barclays offer their lowest ever two-year fixed rate mortgages

Barclays has lowered the price of many of their fixed and tracker rate mortgages and they are now offering some of their best ever rates.
For borrowers with a 35% deposit looking to raise between £500,000 and £2 million, Barclays offer a two-year fixed rate at 1.89% (3.6% APR) and it has a £1,999 arrangement fee. For those with a 30% deposit, they also offer a two-year fixed rate at 2.18% (3.7% APR) and it is available up to £1 million. It has a £999 arrangement fee.
Both mortgage rates will revert to the Bank of England base rate plus 3.39% after the fixed rate expires.
There has been a lot of mortgage rate changes over the last week and some lenders have increased new customer rates. Providing borrowers can put down a 15% deposit they can still access some fantastically cheap deals.
