Average selling prices in the west of Scotland almost 4% higher than a year

Average selling prices in the west of Scotland are almost 4% higher than a year ago at £133,000 - compared to £128,000 in January 2011. According to the Glasgow Property Centre, this is the first time house price inflation in Scotland has been positive since early 2010. However, house prices are still 11% below their 2007 peak and transaction numbers remain low. 13 January 2012
