Financial Times - Million pound mortgages are cheaper than ever

Getting a mortgage for more than £1 million is cheaper than ever, as banks and building societies cut fees and tempt wealthy buyers with interest rates below 1%.
“Mortgage lenders are really pushing for large loans at the moment. They’re constantly undercutting each other,” said Aaron Strutt, product director at broker Trinity Financial.
Over the last few weeks a host of lenders have lowered their large loan rates, including Coutts, HSBC and Yorkshire Building Society.
