NatWest for Intermediaries has launched a leading five-year remortgage rate.

It is fixed at 2.30% until 30th June 2016 and it is available borrowers with at least 40% equity in their property. The overall cost for comparison is 3.5% APR.

There is a £1,495 arrangement fee and the mortgage is available to a maximum of £750,000.

Aaron Strutt, product manager at Trinity Financial, says: "Some of the lenders are offering some great five-year fixes at the moment and they offer real value for money.

"NatWest will pay for the property valuation and legal fees, reducing the cost of remortgaging to a better deal."

After the fixed rate the mortgage reverts to NatWest’s standard variable rate, which is currently 4%.
