Mortgages for the self-employed with 12 months accounts

Most banks and building societies require two or three years accounts when you apply for a mortgage, although Trinity Financial has access to a mortgage lender that requires one year's accounts. With so many new start-up businesses in the UK some banks have realised that not everyone will be able to produce three years accounts. Aaron Strutt, product manager at Trinity Financial, says: "Borrowers will need a very good credit score to qualify with this lender although they are currently processing a large amount of applications for self-employed borrowers."
