Borrowers could find it easier to secure a mortgage in the coming months amid tentative signs that the lending market is finally getting back on its feet, despite the poor outlook for house prices.
Aaron Strutt, of Trinity Financial, the broker, said: “In the past month we have seen the vast majority of our clients accepted on the first application, which is a major improvement. Banks seem willing to lend again.”
