  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year + quarterly performance bonus

About this vacancy

Date job added 10/11/2025.

We are a London-based mortgage brokerage dedicated to providing expert advice and tailored lending solutions. Our team works closely with clients, lenders, and consultants to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage process from application through to completion.

Role Overview

The Mortgage Administrator will play a vital role in supporting our brokerage team by managing client files, maintaining accurate documentation, and liaising with lenders and solicitors. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide outstanding administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mortgage applications from initial submission to completion, ensuring all documents are accurate and compliant.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and advisors to track application progress and resolve queries.
  • Maintain detailed records of each case using internal systems and CRM software.
  • Support Mortgage Advisors with file preparation, affordability checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all required regulatory and KYC (Know Your Customer) documents are complete and up to date.
  • Produce progress reports and updates for internal use and client communication.
  • Assist in developing process improvements to increase efficiency across the brokerage.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in mortgage administration, financial services, or a similar brokerage role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the mortgage process and lender requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, fast-moving team.
  • A professional, client-focused attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Arrangements

  • Based in our Islington office 4 days per week (with 1 optional remote day).
  • Standard working hours, with flexibility for key client or lender deadlines.
  • Daily performance bonus available based on accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

We are keen to hire someone who is in a relatively easy commuting distance from our Islington office. We would also prefer someone who wants an admin to a broker and does not want to be a mortgage broker.
