The Telegraph - Mortgage costs rise ahead of Bank of England meeting

Households have been forced to pay more on their mortgages as lenders scramble to get ahead of tomorrow's expected interest rate rise. 

Aaron Strutt, of Trinity Financial, a broker, told The Telegraph that lenders had already factored in another Bank Rate rise. "Many borrowers are worried about future rate rises and are fixing for five years to ensure they know how much they're paying."
