The Sunday Times - First-time buyer mortgage deals are back — that doesn’t mean you’ll get one
While there are now more than 100 deals for borrowers with a 5% deposit brokers say as few as one in 20 applications are getting to an agreement in principle stage.
Aaron Strutt from the mortgage broker Trinity Financial, told The Sunday Times: “First-time buyers have been putting their plans on hold for months and finally see that now’s the time to buy, as there are more options available to them.”
