Mortgage Strategy - MS probe shows valuation delays are back again and 'could last a while'

An investigation by Mortgage Strategy has revealed that the valuation delays which dogged the mortgage market last year have returned and surveyors think the problems could persist for the next six months.

Trinity Financial product and communications manager Aaron Strutt says: "Vendors are keen for the sale to go ahead so if it takes weeks for a valuation, there is a chance the offer won't be accepted over another buyer who can move a bit quicker.
