Santander launches exclusive current account mortgages

Trinity Financial has secured access to Santander for Intermediaries exclusive current account mortgage rates.

Santander's two-year fix is offered up to 60 per cent LTV at 1.94 per cent " a 0.1 per cent discount on the standard product " with a £995 booking fee.

There is also a 75 per cent LTV product priced at 2.29 per cent with a £995 booking fee. It is also 0.1 per cent cheaper than the product on offer to those who do not have a Santander current account.

The Spanish banking giant is always keen to attract new current account customers and as an added incentive they are offering lower mortgage rates.

The qualify for a current account mortgage existing personal Santander Current Account's must have been open for a minimum of 30 calendar days at the time of the mortgage application. The new Santander mortgage Direct Debit must come out of this Santander current account.

Unlike most banks, Santander also offer clients 1% cash back on their Santander mortgage payments, when they pay by Direct Debit from a Santander 123 Current Account, up to maximum monthly amounts of £1,000 for a £2 monthly account fee.
