Principality BS increases its maximum mortgage loan size to £750,000

Principality Building Society has increased its maximum mortgage loan sizes across its range.

For borrowers with a 35% deposit the maximum loan size has been raised from £500,000 to £750,000.

Also, for those with a 25% deposit the loan has been increased from £500,000 to £650,000.  

Principality’s lowest two-year fixed rate is priced at 2% and it has a £994 arrangement fee. The overall cost for comparison is 4.8% APR.

In order to access this rate borrowers will need a 35% deposit and early repayment charges apply for two-years.  

After the fixed rate period the rate reverts lenders standard variable rate, currently 4.99%.
