Mortgage lenders look to end the year on a high

December is traditionally the month when mortgage lenders slow down in the run up to Christmas, but times have changed and they are working hard to improve the mortgages they offer. There has been a considerable increase in competition between mortgage lenders over the last six months, with banks and building societies offering borrowers better rates. There are now 35 lenders participating in the Bank of England's Funding for Lending Scheme and Trinity expect to start the New Year strongly. If the market continues to improve, there is a good chance there will be even more innovation and new mortgages for first-time buyers. It has been a busy year at Trinity Financial and we have helped many more of our clients to raise funds to buy properties. We moved to new offices in Mayfair and worked hard to develop our relationships with some of the UK's leading estate agencies.
