Halifax offering home buyers 1% cashback
Halifax is offering a range of mortgages with 1% cashback up to a maximum of £2,000.
The cashback is available to first-time buyers and home movers taking selected mortgage rates between the 25th April and 19th June 2016.
The cashback is paid within 30 days of mortgage completion and credited to the bank account where the monthly repayments are debited from.
Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, says: “Halifax’s cashback offer is very popular and helps with moving costs, although it is worth remembering some of these rates are more expensive than the standard rates.
“While the bank does not have the cheapest rates in the market, it does have some of the most attractive lending criteria. It will accept one year’s accounts and help clients with small blips on their credit record.”
Halifax says the offer can be withdrawn at any time and the offer is not valid with some product transfer, further advance and home mover products.
