Clydesdale Bank launches Professional mortgage range
Clydesdale Bank has launched a range of mortgages for Professionals without arrangement fees or valuation costs.
The mortgages are available up to 90% loan-to-value for loans between £80,000 and £500,000.
To qualify one or more of the applicants must be fully qualified and working as an: Accountant, architect, barrister, chartered surveyor, dentist, engineer, medical doctor, nurse, optometrist, pharmacist, pilot, police officer, solicitor, teacher or vet.
Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, says: “A few of the lenders are offering mortgages targeting professionals and they normally have some sort of incentive or income multiple enhancement.
“Clydesdale’s two and five-year fixes are competitively priced but it important to do the sums and ensure it does not make sense to simply pay the normal setup fees or take a lower rate.”
