Bank fines to be put towards war museum refurbishment

Prime Minister David Cameron has pledged to use £5 million of fines imposed on financial services companies to help with the refurbishment of World War 1 galleries at the Imperial War Museum. There are plans to commemorate 100 years since World War 1 in 2014 with a £50 million fund. This idea is to increase awareness of the millions of people killed and the huge sacrifices they made.
