Accord launches eight day mortgage specials

Accord Mortgages and Abbey for Intermediaries have improved their leading mortgage rates and they are now even more attractive. Accord, owned by the Yorkshire Building Society, has limited the availability of their rates and they will be withdrawn in eight days. Their two-year fixed rate at 3.49% is available to borrowers with a 20% deposit and it has a £995 arrangement fee. They also offering a five year fixed rate at 3.29% for borrowers with a 30% deposit and the arrangement fee is £995. Both mortgages are available to a maximum of £1 million. Abbey for Intermediaries has lowered the price of their exclusive mortgages and their most competitive rate is fixed for two years at 2.69%. It has a £995 arrangement fee and the lender requires a 40% deposit.  The maximum loan size is £1 million. Banks and building societies have been busy lowering their rates and Trinity spoke to the BBC about the recent changes.
