Having been born into an army family my intention was to take my place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst after graduating from university. As a result of a motorcycle accident I embarked upon a new career within financial services and since that day I have never looked back. I have worked in all areas of financial advice including pension, investment and inheritance tax planning.

Just over 7 years ago I decided to focus my energy solely on mortgage broking and have subsequently built strong relationships with clients, introducers and lenders. During this time I have worked for leading mortgage companies such as John Charcol and Chase De Vere Mortgage Management.

Born in Rhodesia and educated in South Africa I obtained a bachelor's degree in Dental Technology. After many years as a "Tooth Fairy" working in both SA and the UK I decided to give up the dental industry and follow my passion for properties.

I moved into the mortgage business with Chase De Vere Mortgage Management. Through sheer hard work and determination I quickly developed and built up a strong portfolio of high net worth clients.

I have contacts at some of the UK's largest estate agencies and Independent Financial Advisor firms. I have helped all sorts of people obtain mortgages, from first-time buyers to politicians, also a number of professional landlords who have developed their property portfolios.

I graduated from university in 2001 and was recruited by a leading mortgage lender to work in their current account mortgage department. I gained a real insight into the way banks operate and this experience helped me to develop a strong knowledge of finance and customer service. After two-years at the bank I was asked to join a large mortgage broker in St James's, London. I started in their compliance department and soon took over as the product manager. I also worked with their communications team and reported to the managing director.

Just over three years ago I joined Trinity Financial. I work with banks and building societies, journalists, clients and I enjoy keeping up with the latest mortgage news.
