Trinity use private banks to arrange mortgages of over £1 million for wealthier clients looking for a mortgage to be structured to suit their needs.
The private banking world has changed in recent years, partly because of the increase in competition between high street mortgage lenders and, also, through their strong appetite to lend.
Trinity has developed extensive relationships with leading private banks and we understand their acceptance criteria.
Some private banks will ask for up to 50% of an agreed mortgage amount in assets to be transferred as part of the deal, although we have access to a number of banks which are not so strict. They do not ask for assets to be transferred as part of the transaction.
Many private banks will offer mortgages to applicants if:
- Your remuneration income is more complex
- You require a large mortgage loan
- You receive income through a trust or investment portfolio
- You are a foreign national or expat
