Halifax increases Premier mortgage underwriting limit to £500,000
Halifax for Intermediaries has increased the minimum loan size it requires for mortgage applications to be handled by its Premier underwriter team.
The dedicated Premier team previously managed mortgages of at least £350,000 but is has raised the minimum case value to £500,000. The maximum loan size it processes is £5,000,000.
Aaron Strutt, product director at Trinity Financial, says: “The Premier team provides brokers with an experienced case manager with an average of 10 years’ service at the bank.
